The Mourning After The End

2010 was a terrible year. For everyone. Except for people who have ridiculous luck and we don't like those people. 2010 was terrible and this is why we should end it with a picture of sad and horrible and oh-god-why-me. I drew this when I was feeling particularly down, and that happened a LOT this year so I can't actually tell you when was that. But I inked and colored it this week when I was feeling a lot better, so it doesn't look like blah.

Post-2002, Chosen Children probably don't like December 31st all that much, regardless of which year is it. December 31st 2002 was a day of badness and horror and more badness and much sad. Iori was definitely the one most affected, seeing how his dad's best friend who was possessed by the Big Bad effectively died in his arms. Can you imagine what that sort of thing would do to a nine-year-old boy? Yeah. Effing OUCH.

And then I wonder what happened with poor Pipimon 'cause he just lost his long-lost partner. AGAIN. The poor dear. I like imagining that Iori took Pipimon home with him, and there were lots of hugs. Like this one super angsty one.

Eventually everyone got better. Even Iori, despite receiving enough emotional damage for a thousand children. Maybe even Oikawa got better. I hope so for Dati.
