August 1st - The Adventurers

One fateful summer day, seven children at summer camp were sucked into a portal to another world, where they encountered strange creatures named Digital Monsters, or Digimon for short. Each was partnered with one of those monsters and together, they went to save the world - or rather, both worlds.

And according to the official Digimon canon, that day was exactly ten years ago!

I like anniversaries. I really wanted to commemorate this one somehow, and drawing all eight Chosen Children from Adventure together is a perfectly good way to do that. I think it turned out well! The girls look girly enough and I didn't screw up Yamato's hair at all. =3

For the Crests in the background, I used these Crest brushes. They didn't quite work like brushes for me, but copying and pasting PNG files worked just as well.
